Description
GENTLE THEM DOWN
Recognising that your behaviour has frightened or harmed other people is an important beginning, but lasting change requires more than a promise made after the moment has passed. Gentling Down supports the qualities that need to be present during the difficult moment itself.
Its first-person affirmations reinforce empathy, respect for consent, awareness of another person’s experience and the belief that kindness and boundaries are forms of strength. The program must be chosen and used by the person changing their own behaviour. It must never be played to someone else without their knowledge or consent.
This recording is not a substitute for an accredited behaviour-change program, therapy, safeguarding or accountability. If anyone is at risk now, seek immediate help from local domestic-abuse services or emergency authorities.
