Description

Description
This is the longest and deepest session in the library, and it’s built for anyone living with physical discomfort — an injury that’s healing, a flare-up, a body that aches at the end of the day.

Lièv begins with the breath: the rise and fall of your diaphragm, a slow count from ten to one, deeper and deeper, until you’ve reached the most relaxed state that’s comfortable for you today. From that state the work becomes specific. You’ll bring your attention to the places in your body that want soothing, and work with the mind–body connection directly — imagining signals travelling from your brain to those areas, circulation carrying what’s needed toward them and carrying away what isn’t.

At the center of the session is the image of water flowing over a stone. Continuous, unhurried, finding every small crevice — and over time changing something that seemed unchangeable. It’s an image of gradual, accelerating relief, and it’s returned to as the suggestions settle.

The session closes by giving you something you can take with you: a breathing technique that lets you direct coolness, numbing or a soft tingling into any area that needs it, any time. Just as importantly, it includes suggestions to keep moving, sitting and resting in ways that protect the areas that are healing — comfort without carelessness.

Instructions
Listen every day for about a week – no distractions, no doing anything, just relaxing and enjoying a little time to take care of you. Never listen to hypnosis while driving a vehicle or operating heavy machinery. Consult a medical professional before using hypnosis or other new wellness products. Some individuals, such as those with epilepsy or seizure disorders, may experience adverse effects.

How it works

GUIDED HYPNOSIS PROGRAMS

Hypnosis is a state of focused, receptive attention. You are awake the whole time, aware of where you are, and in control. It is not sleep, it is not unconsciousness, and nothing happens that you do not agree to. Most people describe it as being deeply relaxed while listening closely — much like the state you fall into when a film absorbs you completely.
The reason it works on things that deciding does not is that habits, reactions and beliefs are not held at the level where deciding happens. You already know, consciously, that the presentation will be fine or that the memory is a good one. Knowing has never been what was missing. In a receptive state, suggestion reaches the level where the response actually lives, and the response is what changes.

Every Zen Mindware hypnosis program follows the same shape. Lièv settles you — through your breathing, or a softened gaze, or a spreading feeling of comfortable heaviness. She deepens that with a slow count. She then does the work of the session: the suggestions, the imagery, and usually a technique you can take away with you. And she brings you back — either counting you up alert, or, if you are listening at bedtime, letting you drift into natural sleep instead.

It settles through repetition rather than effort. There is nothing to concentrate on and nothing to get right, and most people find they reach a receptive state faster by the third or fourth listen than they did on the first.

Every program is written and recorded personally by Lièv Aleo, a hypnotist and coach with twenty years of practice. Never AI-generated.

How to use

GUIDED HYPNOSIS PROGRAMS

  • Give yourself the full running time somewhere quiet, where you will not be interrupted. Dim the lights, close the curtains, silence your phone.
  • Lie flat on your back with your arms at your sides and your legs uncrossed. Headphones are ideal but not required.
  • There is nothing to concentrate on and nothing to get right. Let your attention wander if it wants to — the work happens below that.
  • Listen once a day for the first two weeks, then whenever you want to reinforce it. Hypnotic suggestion settles through repetition, not through effort. Most people find they drop into a receptive state faster by the third or fourth listen.
  • Every Zen Mindware hypnosis program has two endings built into it. Listening during the day, Lièv counts you back up alert and clear-headed. Listening at bedtime, the same passage lets you ignore the count and drift into natural sleep instead.
  • If you fall asleep before the program ends, you have lost nothing.
